I have been switching my products over to natural products for about a year now. It's been a very long journey. When you find a natural product you love there's nothing better, but it can take many trials before you fall in love with a natural product. While this has been a long endeavor, the most difficult natural product to find has been a natural deodorant. I began switching out my bath, beauty, and face products about a year ago to limit the toxicity I was exposed to with my products. Since skin is our largest organ, it's extremely important that we be careful what products we use on our skin. What we put on our skin is absorbed and this can lead to toxicity if we aren't careful with the products we use. One of the first pieces of advice they give to cancer patients is to switch over their products to natural ones to limit their toxicity exposure. With my rare autoimmune disorders I struggle with very painful and swollen lymph nodes. Since i've started switching my products to natural ones, I have noticed that my lymph node swelling has decreased and my skin is less irritated and itchy. Switching over my products has been well worth the hassle!!!
Unfortunately, there is a lot of trial and error when switching to natural products. One of the places my lymph nodes swell the most is under my arms. It has taken me a year, but I have finally found a natural deodorant that works for me and I can't wait to share it with you! I'm hoping to save you the expense and disappointment by sharing my natural products. But most of all i'm hoping to save you the embarrassment of stinky armpits! lol. This has been a VERY stinky process! I tried natural brands such as Toms and Kiss My Face and I started to ripen pretty quickly! It was embarrassing to say the least. Even reapplying didn't do anything. I also tried a local made deodorant that was a magnesium and essential oil spray. I ripened even quicker. But I did find that this magnesium spray was great for headaches and migraines, and I still use it to spray on my temples to help with these problems. So a liquid spray is probably not the best way to go. Disappointed, I decided to go back to my clinical strength Secret deodorant, even though I knew it was bad for me, because I couldn't stand the stench of my armpits! I found an all natural deodorant that I love, but I still had to reapply it throughout the day. I love the smell of the lavender and the vanilla orange Jade Bloom deodorants. And these are so natural that you can understand the ingredients on the back! But reapplying is a hassle and on the hottest days it wasn't cutting it. I still use the deodorants, but I use them at night as they are soothing with the essentials oils ingredients.

But I finally found a natural deodorant that could compete with the clinical strength Secret deodorant and I couldn't be happier. As the commercial says you will be smelling your pits and a somewhat bashfully, I can say that I have found myself doing this! The release of Lume deodorant was a game changer for me. I don't have to worry about reapplying and it stand up to clinical strength deodorant. And the smell is AMAZING. I seriously think "pit smelling" should be a disclaimer on this product! Don't judge me as a pit sniffer until you've tried it. lol. I absolutely love the jasmine rose scent. I have also tried the lavender, but I love the sweetness of the jasmine. While lavender and jasmine are in my top five favorite scents, the jasmine rose won my heart and my nose. These have a strong scent, but the smell lessens once applying. So don't be alarmed if it goes on strong. A little goes a long way so I know this product will last me a long time. And it's even approved for private parts if you're interested in that too. I couldn't be happier with my new deodorant and good smelling pits! It really has saved me a lot of embarrassment that came with the other brands. I hope you'll try it and fall in love with this product too!
